Oncology department is one of the oldest established cancer centre in this region. Pioneering work in early detection of cancer and treatment has been performed. Over 50,000 patients have been treated till date.

An expert team of medical physicist, radiation technicians implement effective Radiotherapy.
Cancer centre at Dhoot Hospital conducts camps, provides screening programes for early detection of cancer.
Team of Pathologist, Cytologist, Radiologist, Gynecologist and Social Worker work together. Cancer treatment is managed jointly by Medical Oncologists,Surgical Oncologist and Radiation Oncologists.

The Oncology Department is welll equipped with

Linear Accelerator Radiation Unit, GyneSource HDR after loader system for Brachy Therapy, Multidata Treatment planning system (TPS) , all types of tumors marker, Pap smear, FNAC Mammography unit (GE make), Chemotherapy treatment at various levels of cancer, Electro Chemotherapy for local cancer tumers.
