Dr. Oswal has actively participated in teaching activities of DNB surgery.
He has been honorary Assistant Professor of Urology at Government Medical College, Aurangabad where he is actively engaged in post graduate teaching (Surgery).

Academic & Professional Achievements:
Dr. Oswal has led the teams which have a cumulative experience of over 1200 renal transplants; of which he has performed over 1100 transplant surgeries (recipient) independently, with excellent surgical results. He has actively led the transplant team and is involved in donor screening, donor & recipient surgeries and post-operative care. Transplant surgery experience includes doing double, triple arteries, double veins, double ureters and paediatric transplants; second transplants, transplants in patients who have undergone CABG, PTCA. Dr. Oswal recently started doing laparoscopic donor nephrectomy also.

- Trained in Urology at the Grant Medical College, Mumbai under Prof. Madhav H Kamat and Dr Percy J Chibber in 1997-1999.
- One of his publications regarding management of Urinary bladder calculi is quoted in the Campbell’s Urology, eighth edition, Chapter 99.
- He has a large experience of management of urinary calculus disease patients. This includes complex and large staghorn calculi requiring multiple tracks PCNL and /or multiple procedures, paediatric PCNLs, ante grade URS and endopyelotomy for strictures.
- Good experience of laparoscopic nephrectomy and adrenalectomy. Total 50 cases in last 3years. It includes paediatric lap nephrectomy also.
- ESWL experience includes working on Siemens lithostar. Trained in HoLEP under dr. Pankaj Maheshwari who is authority in Holmium laser in Urology. Currently doing HoLEP and RIRS also.
- Has a good experience of urethroplasties: end – end anastomosis for traumatic urethral strictures, buccal mucosa grafts for BXO, paediatric traumatic strictures. Regularly do all kind urooncology work.
- He has trained more than 10 Post-graduate Urology students at Grant Medical College, Mumbai.
